The diner started in 1987 in a former 1940’s Phillips 66 gas station although this was largely destroyed by fire. Today this retro-style diners serves up American and local diner favorites like burgers, chicken fried steak, fruit pies, and milkshakes and has a 1950’s interior decor.

The Hiway House Motel in Albuquerque is a modest motel that is very well located in the center of the Nob Hill area and at a walking distance from the University of New Mexico. Hiway House was a motor hotel chain founded in 1956 at Phoenix, Arizona by the late Del Webb, a construction magnate who owned the New York Yankees baseball team and later created the Sun City retirement communities. Our Motel is a remnant of the old Hiway House chain still in operation at Albuquerque, New Mexico
