Laguna, NM was on an old alignment of Route 66..Here is an old diner...Maybelle's Diner now closed. At one time a riding club was also in the area. Highland Meadows Estates, near Laguna, New Mexico.
West of Mesita on an old Route 66 alignment we come to Owl Rock. This was called “dead mans curve” and it’s between Mesita and Laguna.
