After traveling through San Jon on "Dirt 66" we come to Tucumcari, NM... "Rawhide Days" occurs first weekend of May..we just happened upon it. Here is a Longhorn parade down Route 66 thru Tucumcari. This was the 3rd Annual Tucumcari Rawhide Days. A celebration of Tucumcari’s frontier heritage and the Rawhide TV series filmed in the Tucumcari area and town.
