Oklahoma City, OK.... Lake Overholser is a popular spot for boaters, fishermen and picnickers.
Just west of Oklahoma City on Route 66 is Yukon, OK... Yukon Mill 3rd. St. and Main St. Yukon. The Yukon Mill and Grain Company began in 1893 as a small business operating a grain elevator and mill. It was acquired around 1903 by John F. and Frank L. Kroutil with A. F. Dobry, who expanded the company. By 1915 it was exporting grain. The plant could mill 2,000 barrels of flour per day in the 1930s. The 42 x 55 foot sign atop the elevator lights up at night using energy-saving LEDs and announces "Yukon's Best Flour"
